What this site is

This site gives information about the Ridgelit permanent lighting dealer program and lets you apply for a call with our team. Nothing on the site is an offer you can accept. Sending an application doesn't mean you've been accepted, reserved an area or bought anything.

If you join the program, it's governed by a separate written agreement that you sign with us. If that agreement says something different from this site, the agreement wins. Prices, what's included and which areas are available can change until they're written into a signed agreement.

Who can apply

To apply, you must be at least 18, based in the United States, and able to enter into a contract. The information you give us must be true and complete.

We may decline any application for any lawful reason, including when your area has already been taken.

No earnings promises

Any numbers on this site, in our videos and ads, or on our calls, such as job prices, margins, appointment numbers or what other dealers have done, are examples, estimates or past results. They are not promises of what you'll earn. We don't promise that you'll make any money.

What you earn depends on you and on things we don't control, including how much time and money you put in, your area, your prices, your sales and install skills, your costs, the season and the wider market. Starting any business carries risk, including the risk of losing the money you put in. Do your own research, and talk to your own lawyer and accountant before you invest.

Any guarantee we offer is only the one written into your signed agreement, on the conditions written there.

Some of the people in our videos and ads are paid presenters rather than Ridgelit dealers or customers. Where we show results from a dealer, they are real, but they are not typical, and yours may be very different.

Calls, texts and emails

When you send us your details, you agree that Ridgelit can contact you by phone and email about your application and your call.

If you also tick the consent box on our form, you agree that Ridgelit can call and text the mobile number you gave us about your application, your booked call and the Ridgelit dealer program, including reminders and marketing messages, some sent using automated technology. If you don't tick the box, we may still call or email you about the application you sent, but we won't send you automated or marketing texts.

About our texts:

• Program: Ridgelit dealer program messages about your application, your call and the program.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to opt out. We'll send one message confirming it, then stop.
• Reply HELP for help, or email [CONTACT EMAIL].
• Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Only give us a mobile number that's yours or that you're allowed to use. If your number changes or you give it up, tell us so we don't text someone else.

Booking a call

Calls are booked through a third-party scheduling tool. If you can't make your time, please reschedule using the link in your confirmation email, or tell us. We may cancel or move a call if we need to, and we'll let you know when we do.

Our content

Everything on this site, including the text, videos, images and the Ridgelit name and logo, is owned by us or used with permission. You can view it to learn about the program and decide whether to apply. You can't copy, republish, sell or scrape it, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.

Using the site properly

When you use the site, you agree not to:

• give us false information, or apply in someone else's name
• use bots or scripts to fill in our forms or copy our content
• try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it
• use the site for anything illegal

Other companies' services

Our site uses and links to services run by other companies, such as our scheduling tool and Facebook and Instagram. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free or up to date, and we don't give any warranties about it beyond those the law requires.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Ridgelit is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or business opportunities, that comes from your use of this site. Our total liability to you for anything to do with this site is limited to $100. These limits don't apply to anything the law doesn't let us limit, and they don't change any signed agreement between us, which has its own terms.

If you break these terms

If you break these terms, we may block your access to the site or decline your application. If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law when using the site, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE]. If you have a problem, please email [CONTACT EMAIL] first and we'll try to sort it out with you within 30 days. If we can't, any dispute about these terms or this site will be decided by the courts located in [COUNTY], [STATE], and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
